What brought you to KPU and your program of study?

KPU was very close to my house. I did a Dual Credit Program at KPU while I was still in high school, and liked the environment, so I applied again.

Can you briefly describe your current position and your main day to day responsibilities?

I am still a student at KPU, doing a major in Psychology! I graduated CADD with a citation in 2021, and felt like, while it was very interesting, the field ultimately didn't suit me.

Which skills, knowledge, or experiences from KPU have been most valuable in your career so far?

What I learned from the CADD program was how to manage my time effectively, which has been the most valuable lesson in and outside of my academic journey.

What advice would you give current KPU students who want to build a successful career after graduation?

Everyone is on a different journey; it's okay to switch fields/majors/careers if you feel like it doesn't fully suit you. Deciding when to stop something that isn't beneficial to you is a lesson in and of itself that many need to learn. Enjoy what you do, love where you are, and appreciate your past decisions!
